RPL Certification at Build Asia Exhibition 2026

The Association of Builders and Developers of Pakistan (ABAD), in collaboration with the National Vocational and Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC), is introducing the Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) Certification Program at the Build Asia Exhibition 2026. This initiative aims to recognize the skills of experienced workers and provide them with official certification in trades such as building electrician and plumbing.

Supported by Trace Pakistan, the program allows skilled workers to validate their practical experience through professional assessments. Through the RPL process, individuals who have gained expertise through years of hands-on work can receive nationally recognized certification without going through traditional academic training.

The program offers free training, RPL assessments, and certification by NAVTTC, helping workers improve their qualifications and expand their career opportunities. It is designed to bridge the gap between practical skills and formal recognition, enabling workers to grow professionally.

This collaboration between ABAD, NAVTTC, and Trace Pakistan plays an important role in strengthening Pakistan’s skilled workforce and improving standards within the construction industry. By recognizing existing skills and providing certification, the initiative supports workers in building better careers and contributing to the development of the industry.
